Earth Day: Join Our Beach Clean

Earth Day 2023 marks a special occasion for individuals and communities worldwide to come together and take action for the environment. On the 23rd of April 2023, The Nautilus Project and Diving with Nic are organising a beach clean at Rosia Bay in Gibraltar, and you are invited to join in the effort to protect our planet.

The beach clean will provide an opportunity to make a tangible difference to the local environment and contribute to the wider global effort to reduce plastic pollution. Rosia Bay is an important habitat for marine life, and by removing litter and other debris from the beach, we can help to preserve this fragile ecosystem.

Participants in the beach clean will be provided with all necessary equipment and guidance on safely handling and disposing of litter. The Nautilus Project team will also be on hand to answer any questions and provide information about the importance of protecting our oceans and marine life.

By joining this beach clean, you can make a meaningful contribution to the health of our planet and help to raise awareness about the urgent need to take action to protect our environment. Let’s work together to create a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for all.

Key details:

  • April 23rd at 10 a.m. in Rosia Bay (the day after Earth Day)
  • If you require transportation to Gibraltar, please let us know
  • Please confirm your attendance via WhatsApp including whether you will be diving

We look forward to seeing you there!
